The Great Pyramid of Khufu at Giza, Egypt

"Egypt has always been considered a land of wonders. Foremost of these are the numerous pyramids that adorn the western bank of the Nile. The greatest and oldest of the pyramids on the Gizeh field is that of Khufu, the second king of the fourth dynasty. It is calculated that it must have taken him about twenty years to complete this structure which was his tomb." Dated 1899
